Sucky Roads Fleet is a planned dedicated road-measurement system for city vehicles, service fleets, utilities, delivery vehicles, and other organizations that regularly cover the same roads.

Coming Soon: Fleet hardware, cellular service, fleet dashboards, and commercial plans are still in development and are not available for purchase or deployment yet.

The idea

A small dedicated box. Automatic road data.

The planned Fleet unit is a compact vehicle-mounted sensor that can collect road-condition data without tying up an employee's phone. The prototype concept combines motion sensing, GPS, local processing, and a cellular connection in one small device powered by the vehicle.

Mount it once

A compact unit stays in the vehicle and powers up with the vehicle instead of depending on a driver's personal phone.

Measure automatically

Motion sensors and GPS evaluate bumps, rough pavement, and repeat problem areas while the vehicle follows its normal route.

Send compact data

Processed road events can be uploaded over cellular service, with bandwidth kept small enough for practical fleet deployment.

Why Fleet

Coverage where ordinary app traffic may be thin.

Public works trucks, utility vehicles, school transportation, service fleets, and other regularly driven vehicles could repeatedly measure roads that may not receive enough crowdsourced phone passes.

Consistent coverage

Vehicles that drive the same territory every day can build dependable before-and-after road evidence.

Dedicated sensors

A fixed device creates a more consistent mounting environment than a phone moving between cupholders, pockets, and dashboards.

Repair verification

Repeated passes could show when a rough segment improves after patching, resurfacing, or other road work.

Fleet dashboard

Planned tools can summarize device health, coverage, data use, road priorities, and collection activity without exposing individual drivers publicly.

Current status

Prototype planning—not a live product yet.

  • Hardware enclosure and sensor package are still being prototyped.
  • Cellular bandwidth is being measured with the Android beta first.
  • Fleet management and municipal tools are planned after core road detection is proven.
  • No fleet units are currently being sold, installed, or represented as production-ready.
